Use it on your own risk!

While using this tool in Germany is not prohibited by law (Hackerparagraph 202c) if you don’t do this intentionally to commit crime, it is indeed not legal in the UK. In my humble opinion Austria in this case does not have certain laws for using Google in this way.

Besides that Google may block your IP if you use that tool extensively. So please be cautious when using Goolag Scanner!

Jabber ist ein offenes Prokoll, ich nehme aber an, dass Google mit eigener IM-Software die Kunden noch stärker an die Suchmaschine binden will. Auch AOL, Yahoo und Microsoft sind an vorderster Front. Yahoo integrierte erst kürzlich VOIP und baut interessante Features in ihren Messenger ein. Leider läuft der unter Linux in einer uralten Version. Google plant angeblich auch einen VOIP-Service. Nun, wir werden es am Mittwoch sehen.

Damit steigt Google in den heiß umkämpften Markt der Instant Messenger ein. Dort räkeln sich schon Unternehmen wie Yahoo!, AOL, Microsoft und Skype.

Update: Google Talk ist nun online unter http://talk.google.com. Die Vermutungen haben sich alle bestätigt.

Im Moment sind weder Routenplaner noch Geocoding über das API erreichbar. Und die Maps-Daten für Europa sind auch nur für UK vorhanden.
